OFFCHAIN TECHNOLOGY

Contracts & Digital Assets

Smart contracts and digital assets. Built around clear rules.

For founders and platform teams translating an asset model into working software. OffchainTech scopes the contract logic, distribution journeys and administrative powers together, so the specification explains who can change what and how those changes reach users.

ASSET RULES TO REVIEWABLE TRANSACTIONS

  1. 01Define rights and roles
  2. 02Implement contract rules
  3. 03Connect owner journeys
  4. 04Verify state changes

Illustrative engineering workflow. Interfaces, environments and responsibilities are assessed for the agreed scope.

01 / SCOPE

Build the rules behind ownership.

Start with the actions and authority your system needs.

Smart Contract Development

Specify business logic, permissions, escrow release conditions and upgrade mechanisms. Define invariants, emitted events and rejected operations. Include contract tests and deployment configuration so the implementation can be reviewed against agreed behaviour rather than an informal feature list.

Tokens & Launch Infrastructure

Scope vesting schedules, staking rules, claims, allocations and distribution. Sale portals and administration tools need explicit eligibility inputs, allocation limits and time boundaries. Define rounding, unclaimed balances, repeated claims and the authority to change each configuration.

NFTs & Digital Ownership

Build collection, minting and marketplace workflows for defined ownership use cases, including memberships, ticketing and gaming assets. Specify metadata control, transfer rules, redemption and cancellation states. A token record alone does not establish rights to external content or assets.

02 / SCOPE

Connect governance to operational responsibilities.

Separate software representation from the decisions that authorise it.

Real-World Asset Tokenization

Scope issuance, ownership records, transfers, investor portals and servicing events. Define how external records are reconciled and who approves corrections. Legal rights, asset custody, investor eligibility and commercial decisions remain separate responsibilities requiring appropriate specialist input.

DAO & Governance Systems

Translate proposal, voting and delegation rules into explicit state transitions. Scope multisig approvals, timelocks and treasury permissions. Define voting snapshots, thresholds, cancelled proposals and execution expiry, including what happens when an approved action cannot execute.

Administrative boundaries

Inventory privileged functions, role changes and upgrade authority before implementation. Document how operators review proposed changes and which actions need multiple approvals. Agree responsibility for keys and recovery without assuming the development team will hold custody.

03 / SCOPE

Verify the lifecycle, including the exceptions.

Acceptance scenarios should cover more than a successful mint.

State and integration checks

Exercise allocation exhaustion, invalid claims, locked transfers, expired proposals and failed escrow conditions. Check that application displays match contract state after rejected transactions and page reloads. Record network and test-environment limitations alongside results.

Deployment and change records

Prepare reproducible deployment inputs, address records and configuration checks. If upgrades are included, test storage compatibility and permission changes. Audit preparation is not independent certification; an external audit requires a separately agreed provider and scope.

FROM BRIEF TO HANDOVER

Define, build and verify the whole workflow.

  1. 01

    Define

Agree the asset model, user roles, network assumptions and excluded legal or commercial decisions. Turn key journeys into acceptance examples.

  2. 02

    Build

Implement contracts and the agreed owner or operator interfaces. Review administrative powers and event handling as the components come together.

  3. 03

    Verify

Run contract and integration scenarios, including unauthorised actions, repeated requests and interrupted journeys. Record unresolved findings and test limitations.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Deliver agreed source, deployment records, configuration and operating notes. Confirm licensing, key responsibilities, maintenance scope and live-release approval.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Useful answers.

Can one token model cover every asset?

No. Transfer rules, ownership meaning and lifecycle events differ. We define the representation and external dependencies for the specific asset and network.

Does tokenization establish legal ownership?

Software can record the agreed model. Legal enforceability, asset rights, custody and distribution permissions require separate decisions and appropriate advice.

Can we change the contracts later?

That depends on the architecture and permissions. Upgradeability, migration options and irreversible behaviour must be agreed before deployment; changes should never be assumed.
