Stocks and equity derivatives
Scope cash stocks, ETFs, stock futures and options, and index futures and options. Identify instruments precisely, including exchange codes, expiries, strike prices and contract multipliers.
Indian & International / Exchange-Traded Markets
Build automation around the instruments, sessions and account access your workflow actually uses. From a defined strategy to broker-connected execution, every contract and exception needs a clear place in the system.
Illustrative system flow. Market access is assessed per engagement.
01 / SCOPE
Indian and international coverage depends on the selected exchange, broker, account and permitted access.
Scope cash stocks, ETFs, stock futures and options, and index futures and options. Identify instruments precisely, including exchange codes, expiries, strike prices and contract multipliers.
Assess cash or spot markets where available, plus exchange-traded commodity futures and options. Specify contract selection, trading sessions and any delivery-related operating boundaries.
Consider currency cash or spot markets where available and currency futures or options only through applicable legal venue and account access. No universal market-access capability is implied.
02 / SCOPE
Agree the data, interfaces and operating requirements before choosing the implementation route.
Implement explicit entry, exit, sizing and session rules. Scope historical-data preparation, replay and backtesting with documented assumptions about fees, fills and data quality.
Assess broker or exchange APIs for the required orders and account information. NinjaTrader is primarily relevant here to listed-futures workflows; platform support requires specific assessment.
Build instrument mapping, position reconciliation and agreed expiry or rollover rules. Multi-leg strategies need explicit handling when individual legs fill, fail or remain open.
03 / SCOPE
Automation needs to understand more than the latest price.
Define exchange calendars, time zones, auction exclusions and stale-data behaviour. Confirm market-data permissions and how corporate actions affect stock histories and strategy inputs.
Specify permitted order types, lot sizes, exposure checks and cancellation behaviour. Test rejected orders, partial fills, disconnections and recovery before resuming order submission.
Exchange-traded futures and options are distinct from provider-issued CFDs. The contract, trading venue and account determine the implementation; a familiar underlying name does not establish equivalence.
FROM BRIEF TO HANDOVER
Document markets, contracts, account permissions and strategy rules. Agree acceptance cases, expiry responsibilities and deployment ownership.
Implement the selected tools, interface adapters and controls. Review instrument mapping and order behaviour with the agreed examples.
Test historical, replay and paper scenarios where available. Exercise session transitions, expiry cases and recovery, recording limitations alongside evidence.
Provide agreed code or builds, configuration, test records and operating instructions. Confirm licensing, support scope and approval for live rollout.
Software tests and operational controls do not guarantee trading returns. Live access, deployment and operating limits are agreed separately.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
No. Instruments, data entitlements, API permissions and account access are assessed separately. Support is confirmed for the specific agreed environment.
We can help identify the rules that need definition. Entry, exit, sizing and exception decisions must be explicit before implementation.
No. They test behaviour under stated assumptions and historical data. This is software engineering, not signal provision or investment advice; losses remain possible.
